CEROC have been introducing people to the world of partner dancing for over 27 years and today we are the biggest dance club in the world with hundreds of classes across the globe.

Ceroc have been running classes at Westgate Hall for over 10 years and obviously don't want to stop!

Ceroc is sometimes referred to as 'Modern Jive' and is a fusion of Salsa, Ballroom, Hip Hop, Tango and Jive. We make learning to dance fun, easy and relaxed.

Going to a Ceroc evening is a great way to meet people, have fun and keep fit all whilst learning to dance.

Levels: Complete Beginners (Basic Steps); Beginners Plus (for those with Basic Steps); Improvers/Intermediate (Developing Routines). Freestyle dancing from about 9:45 to 11:00 pm.

Parking nearby, but it does get busy, so allow a little time to park.

Salsa-Asi ! is run by Bob Long and Julia Claughton, both UKA qualified Salsa teachers.
There are various different styles of Salsa, but we concentrate on Cross-body (L.A. style breaking on 1) Salsa, with strong emphasis on good basic technique, as well as teaching routines, with which we hope to provide a good, basic understanding of and feel for Salsa.
The only requirements to attend these evenings are a ready smile, a friendly disposition, and a sense of fun.
Everyone is welcome, and we teach all, from complete beginners ('two left feet' a speciality!) to experienced dancers; young and old; couples, singles and groups of friends. Dress code is comfortable/casual.
Our class nights generally start with a warm-up, followed by about an hour of teaching, and then a warm-down. After this, there is the chance to practice what you have learnt with freestyle dancing; to chat to friends; or just chill, watch and enjoy the atmosphere.
Whilst we encourage our students to improve and to achieve the best level they can, there is absolutely no pressure to do so, and the evenings are meant to be stress-relief, a place to come and forget the world, meet and make friends, or just to 'lose yourself' for an hour or two. It provides exercise, and is more fun than the treadmill! If you are feeling 'Blue', this is the place to come.
The Salsa-Asi ! philosophy is that we should all enjoy the evening, have as much fun, and give as much pleasure to those we dance with, as possible.
